Bird surveying

Erne Environmental Ltd. has a long term interest in bird surveying extending for more than 20 years (professional experience across Ireland and Scotland) and have expertise in a wide range of survey methodologies and species.

We offer breeding bird surveying (lowland and upland), breeding wader surveying, vantage point surveys (raptors and other species groups), winter bird surveys and species-specific surveying (hen harrier, curlew, whooper swan etc.).

Erne Environmental Ltd. also coordinated the 2023 Breeding Woodcock survey locally in conjunction with the British Trust for Ornithology and the Game and Wildlife Conservation Trust, with support from the British Association fort Shooting and Conservation. https://www.bto.org/woodcock
